Letting Go

delete-key.jpg

I still have over 500 deleted emails in my storage bin. Not junk emails either. I’m talking tender remembrances from flesh and blood people; personages I know. I ask you: does that make me a pack rat?

Sure they’re clogging the system, but to hit that ‘dump’ button seems so, well, final.

Here goes.

(”Your bin is empty”)

Ah, the airy spaciousness of…freedom.

(pat self all over) Still here.

(peer outside bedroom window) Nope, the world didn’t blow up.

Thank the Lord, we all survived.

Oh, shoot a monkey! Why oh why didn’t I remember to save that one?

(don’t laugh; it might be yours.)

Say, what’s clogging up your system?

Scotty--

As a PC geeks, I am always asking friends and family to be careful about saving email messages. I had a pastor who had over 2k messages in his email--it caused his PC to crash. So any time you can, do a regular maintenance in cleaning out stuff from your hard drive--oh, and don't forget the clean the vents and the connection ports--they can get awfully dusty.

Aloha buds.

Scotty--

Ci Padre!!! I do--sometimes quite alot.

Or they send them to me. Case in point, someone is sending their laptop to me from California so i can fix it.

Ah well, such is the life of a geek.
